Allie Smith

Welcome! My name is Alexandra Smith, but for shorthand purposes I like to be called Allie, Alex, Lex, anything shorter than Alexandra really.

So, how did I get here? Who let me have a website?! Well, I am currently in my final semester at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown and am destined for graduation in the spring of 2017. I do have dreams of doing PR work in a big city with corporate office officials and bringing the vision of a company to the public's attention. 

​

Until my career goals become a reality, I have a steady job as a shift supervisor at the Starbucks Coffee Company here in Johnstown. I do love fulfilling peoples' caffeine needs everyday,  however if working at Starbucks has taught me anything it's that I need more. I plan to stay in the Starbucks family and bring my skills to the PR department at the corporate offices in Seattle, Washington.

My love for travel drives everything that I do. Every decision that I make, every turn that I take, is to get the the next destination. I myself am sort of an oxymoron; I crave stability, and yet I never want to be chained to the same place. The inspiration behind the Instagram account that I have linked to this website is a way for me to keep a record of the things that I've seen, the food that I've eaten, and the places that I've gone. My online scrapbook is a sanctuary in which stability exists, and that allows me to spread my wings and go wherever the winds take me.
